Glass Product Manufacturing Process

1. **Raw Material Preparation**

   - **Casting**: Poured into molds for complex shapes (e.g., decorative pieces).  

4. **Annealing**  
   Newly formed glass undergoes controlled cooling in an annealing lehr (oven) at 500-600°C. This relieves internal stresses, enhancing durability. Cooling rates vary from hours to days depending on thickness.  

5. **Secondary Processing**  
   - **Cutting**: Glass is trimmed to precise dimensions using diamond/waterjet tools.  
   - **Polishing**: Edges or surfaces are smoothed mechanically or chemically.  
   - **Decoration**: Techniques like etching, sandblasting, or screen printing are applied.  
   - **Coating**: Anti-reflective or UV-resistant layers may be added.  

6. **Quality Control**  
   Products are inspected for defects (bubbles, cracks, distortions) using visual checks, automated scanners, or stress-testing equipment. Non-conforming items are recycled as cullet.  

7. **Packaging & Shipping**  
   Approved products are wrapped in protective materials, boxed, and palletized. Customized labeling and documentation are prepared for distribution.
